Charlie’s professional background spans major institutional, corporate, financial, cultural, and civic environments, including the Ford Foundation, ABC, British Airways, American Express, Ogilvy, New York Life, New York Mortgage Trust, Rocket Mortgage, the Metropolitan Opera, private development teams, and national Chambers of Commerce.

Across these settings, she has built a reputation for helping decision-makers connect policy, market intelligence, capital considerations, and execution with clarity and strategic discipline.

Her civic and public-policy experience includes chairing the Economic Development Committee (businesses, universities, governments, workforce organizations, and economic-development institutions) of the nation’s first federal Empowerment Zone, serving as a legislative consultant to private development firms and national Chambers of Commerce, and presenting testimony on zoning, infrastructure, housing, and energy—including New York City’s City of Yes for Housing Opportunity proposal.

Charlie has been invited to contribute to by the World Economic Forum and has appeared as a recurring speaker at the Global Power & Energy Blockchain Conference and the Equity Forum. She has also served on the boards of the Nick Bollettieri Foundation, the New York City Housing Authority’s LaGuardia Houses, and the Central Park Conservancy’s Harlem Meer.

Her leadership has supported extensive research, executive dialogue, and hundreds of forums addressing zoning, master planning, infrastructure, development, and economic opportunity.

In addition to her formal education, Charlie holds advanced certifications in Real Estate Finance & Investment, Development & Land Use, Property Valuation, and Negotiation from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
